Methodology

Annual cost = (annual lots × pip value × typical spread) + (annual lots × round-turn commission) + FX conversion when your base currency differs from the broker’s. Inactivity fees are excluded from the MVP (we assume an active trader). Pip value uses a standard $10 per lot for USD-quoted majors.
